Have experience working as a Designer in a joinery business or you are an Interior Designer that has experience in designing high end residential joinery and project management. Design students who are committed to staying in the role as Designer with KT Kitchens are welcome to apply also.

As part of our design team you will manage your own clients from the first “Hello” to design and onto completion. You will be highly organised and thrive on watching your project schedule run smoothly. You will be encouraged to apply your own design flair and style. You will have a passion for creating beautiful spaces that are also highly functional. We love our clients and enjoy the journey we go on together, we want that for you too. We love any opportunity to learn and evolve as Designers and to align with this we attend numerous networking and educational industry events, we would support you in your learnings too.

Other important characteristics and skills you would recognise in yourself are:

Experience designing custom joinery or high-end

Experience liaising with subcontractors and negotiating surprises

Solution focused, ALWAYS

Knowledgeable on finishes available and their correct applications/ restrictions

Project Management experience

A general understanding on Joinery Manufacturing and how it all goes together

Proudly takes ownership of their work

An exceptional communicator who listens first and guides clients with confidence

An outstanding eye for detail

Is patient, professional and genuinely enjoys working with people

Bonus points if you have experience with:

Truth - Curves are functional and not just a trend 🙏

We especially love the curved headboard following not only the raked ceiling but also the curve of the corner shelf. It’s all in the detail 🙌🏻. Even the power point is joining in on the curves 😉 ZETR

Considered design - Always

The best design often looks effortless, but behind that simplicity are hours of thought, testing, and refinement.
This basin and vanity was created out of a challenge: a tight footprint where we didn’t want to compromise on basin size. Rather than placing a basin on top of a vanity, we flipped the thinking and designed a vanity that meets the basin instead

It’s a small detail that solves a practical problem while creating something sculptural, functional, and beautifully simple.
Sometimes the most considered solutions are the ones that look like they were always meant to be.
