You can really see the difference now after giving the room a thorough clean and applying an oil-based primer.

Allowing the correct drying and curing times between each stage is important to help ensure everything bonds properly and the finish lasts.

A job we’re currently working on in Moonah — and this mouldy room has definitely seen better days! 🦠🎨

We started by carefully cleaning off as much of the mould as possible. Once everything was properly dry, we gave all surfaces a thorough sand and applied a quality oil-based primer.

After allowing the primer to dry properly, we’ll be applying an anti-mould paint as the finishing top coat.

At Paint Proof, we don’t believe in simply painting over obvious problems and hoping for the best. We always try to rectify and prepare the surface as much as possible before painting.

Because great results start with great preparation.
