🎨 ACTON PARK — IT’S STARTING TO FEEL SPECIAL!

This beautiful Acton Park home is coming along nicely! 🏡

There’s still plenty to go, but after getting the first areas undercoated, you can really start to see that Paint Proof finish taking shape. That warm feeling when a job starts coming together… this is exactly why we love what we do! 🙌

The ceilings will be going white as snow ❄️, while we’re waiting on the owners to make the final decision on the wall and trim colours.

They may be leaning towards Natural White — a very popular choice that can give a home that beautiful, timeless and fresh feel.

Working in beautiful Acton Park! 🏡🌿

This beautiful home is sitting on acreage, and this brand-new extension is getting that Paint Proof finish. 🎨

We’ll first start by thoroughly dusting down all the gyprock to remove the cement dust, followed by undercoating the ceilings and walls and filling all the nail holes throughout the timber work.

Once everything is dry, we’ll sand all surfaces to make sure the next coat adheres properly and to remove any imperfections or anything that may have stuck to the surface.

Proper preparation will always show in the finished result. 👌

🦷 Dental Clinic Update – Paint Proof

This has been a job with plenty of changes along the way! We were pretty much at the finishing stage when the owners decided they wanted to go in a slightly different direction with the colour scheme — which is completely normal on a project like this.

We’ve had plenty of owners over the years choose a colour, see it in place, and then decide they’d like to change certain areas to something different. It’s all part of the process, and we’re always happy to work with our clients to achieve the look they’re after.

With so many trades working around each other, things get moved, areas get bumped or marked, and accidents can happen. That’s where we come back in to touch up, repair or repaint whatever is needed. It’s always a team effort when working on a busy project alongside other trades.

Everyone involved in this project has been great to work with, and we’re looking forward to seeing the final result come together.

We’re still waiting on a few other trades to finish their work, so we’ll need to come and go as the project progresses. As a painting business, we also have other jobs booked in, so we can’t always wait around for every trade to finish before moving on — we have to keep the work flowing and the business moving too.

So far, the new colour scheme on the outer areas is really starting to look the part, and we’re looking forward to seeing it all come together. 👌

Freshened up, brought the older areas back to life, and finished off with that Paint Proof finish — looking a whole lot better than before! 🎨

✨ Bringing this Lenah Valley ensuite back to life!

This newly renovated ensuite is really starting to come together. We’re giving the older timber work, existing ceilings and walls a fresh new finish, while tying everything in with the brand-new tiles, toilet, shower and flooring.

The fresh paint against the new finishes is really making the colours pop, and the whole space is already looking clean, fresh and schmick! 🎨

We’ve got the ceilings, walls, doors, frames and window all getting the Paint Proof treatment, making sure the old and new parts of the ensuite flow together beautifully.

The owners are already loving how it’s coming together. Can’t wait to see the finished result!

What’s your view at work today? 😍🎨

Today’s office is lovely Lenah Valley… and I honestly can’t complain!

I’m roughly 3 months into life in Tasmania, and I still feel incredibly blessed to be able to do what I love while working in some amazing places across the state.

From Hobart and the Derwent Valley to parts of Southern Tasmania, Paint Proof is out there bringing homes and businesses back to life — one brush stroke at a time. 🖌️

🚪 New door? Don’t forget the edges!

It’s especially important to properly seal the top, bottom and sides of a new timber door particularly when the door is already off and you have easy access.

Sealing all edges helps protect the timber from moisture and reduces the risk of swelling, warping and moisture damage down the track.

At Paint Proof, we believe in doing the job properly from the start. Don’t just paint what you can see — protect the whole door.
