I've been working on this bed for a few years now. Impatience has seen many changes. The soil is heavy and we have a huge tank underneath.
Finally, sucessfully layered. The colours work really well with the variegated Mescanthus.

In the last 10 days, I've moved over 39m³ of mulch by hand. It was nice loading this 2m³ with the tractor this morning. Squeezing mulching jobs on at this time of year is tricky, but very satisfying

This plant has been slowly dying over the last 12 months. Every treatment we could come up with, was not going to save it from itself.
This is what happens when plants are left in pots too long and when planted, poor practices have been used.
