Brought this box hedge back into shape today. It had been left to grow out for a while and was starting to spill over the wall and lose its form.

Cut it back square, flattened the faces and levelled the top so it sits neatly along the rendered wall again. All the clippings were raked out of the hedge and taken away, so the only thing left behind was a clean finish.

Box hedges respond really well to a proper trim. With a tidy-up two or three times a year, this one will keep its shape and stay thick right down to the base.
