Big things have been happening at Gippsland Regional Organics where we turn waste into compost.

We’ve just completed a $12.2 million expansion that boosts our compost processing capacity by nearly 40% - from 180,000 to 250,000 tonnes a year! The extra revenue we generate from compost helps us put downward pressure on bills.

The expansion has also created new jobs and keeps more organic waste out of landfill. A win for our environment and our community.

We're grateful to the Victorian and Australian government for their support, contributing $2.394 million each to the project.
