my friend Elaine Ward passed away last week. She was the inaugural President of the South Australian Geranium Society back in the 1950s. Her knowledge of plant names was phenomenol and her generosity of plants and cuttings for friends and family near and far was well known. Her plants are growing all over Australia.
Her legacy lives on in many gardens with like minded gardeners.
Rest in Peace Elaine. It has been a pleasure knowing you for many years and I have treasured your friendship.
My condolences to her son Peter and family.
