Last Friday, the CV team had the pleasure of attending the UDIA Qld Awards for Excellence, where Covella - a residential development project by AVID Property Group Australia - took home the win for Queensland’s Best Residential Subdivision. We’re incredibly proud to provide design and construction services for this outstanding project, helping to shape it into a vibrant and thriving community.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved, including our dedicated team, partners and all the talented businesses who contributed to Covella’s success. Here’s to creating even more exceptional communities in Queensland!

CV Infrastructure Services was invited by the University of Queensland to deliver a guest lecture for their Project Management subject from Wayes Tushar, who is a senior lecturer in the school of EECS. Wayes has been inviting guest lecturers in recent years to provide his student with more industry knowledge and experience.

Our very own Senior Design Project Manager, Lachlan Braunlein , delivered the lecture giving his insights and personal experience as a Project Manager in engineering sector. Lachlan went through some of projects he has managed and been a part of throughout his early career as an Undergraduate Engineer all the way through to becoming a Senior Design Project Manager, including the key learnings he took from those projects. Lachlan’s aim was to arm the students with an understanding of real-life issues he dealt with along the way and how he, as a young engineer and project manager in the industry, dealt with them. His lecture provided the students with some great knowledge as they look to step into the workforce.
