On the move across regional WA.

A 2023 SANY 50U excavator recently mobilised by Sala Enterprises to Denmark, WA, ready for its new owner and upcoming works.

From plant and machinery transport through to equipment mobilisation and site logistics, transport is another part of the broader capability available through Sala Enterprises.

Whether it’s moving equipment between sites or getting machinery where it needs to be for the next project, we have the capability to get it there.

And when the journey takes you through Walpole, it’s worth getting the photo!

Preparing the way for new infrastructure.

Sala Enterprises recently completed civil works for the removal of an existing ice tank from an ammonia plant, preparing the area for installation of a new chiller.

Works included cutting and removing the existing concrete slab, excavation and material removal, before importing suitable sand for backfilling and compaction.

During excavation, an existing terracotta drainage pipe was found to be broken and faulty. Our team replaced the drainage line with HDPE poly pipe, along with upgrading the trade waste line using chemical and heat-resistant PVC.

The site was then backfilled and compacted, with a new engineered 200mm concrete pad supplied and laid ready for the new chiller installation.

Another job completed from demolition and excavation through to underground services and the finished concrete pad.

When removing it in one piece isn’t an option, you find another way.

Sala Enterprises was recently engaged to remove a redundant bottle-making blow moulder from a production facility - a job made challenging by the weight of the equipment and the confined space it was located in.

Our team isolated and disconnected the electrical, chilled water and air supplies before carefully dismantling the machine into manageable sections for removal.

From there, the equipment was loaded and transported to J&P Group for recycling, before the work area was cleaned and left ready for what comes next.

With two other companies having previously attempted the removal, this was a job that required more than just the right equipment - it needed planning, multiple capabilities and a practical approach to getting it done.

Getting the groundwork right.

Another project completed by the Sala Enterprises team.

This recent job involved a new conveyor accumulation system for a 2L milk bottle production line, with our team completing both the fabrication and electrical components in-house.

Works included stainless steel tray work, control panel electrical isolators and associated electrical works.

It’s a great example of the multi-disciplinary capability Sala Enterprises brings to industrial and FMCG projects - multiple services, delivered by one team.
