A sneak peek of what’s been happening as the carpenters wrap up and the painting begins. Can’t wait to see the finished product once everything gets a fresh coat of paint.

With the Harper boys busy plastering the inside, we’ve moved outdoors this week to lay 2,000 lineal metres of decking around the entire house. By the time we’re done, Trev will officially have the biggest deck in town!

With the external cladding all wrapped up, it’s time to shift the focus indoors. The site’s been busy with Bright & District Electrical wiring up the house, and our plumbing guru Dave Dalbosco has been hard at work installing all the plumbing in the walls, ready for plaster. He’s also been filling the house with some unsolicited vocal performances while he’s at it! 🎶

To bring some warmth into the home, we’ve chosen pine ceiling boards for the living and dining areas instead of plaster throughout. These boards have been carefully stored in Trev’s shed for over 30 years, and now they’ve finally found their place. Paired with the redgum posts, they add a touch of that signature Casbak craftsmanship that sets our homes apart.
