We’ve been pretty quiet on socials lately, but we’ve definitely not been quiet behind the scenes. We’ve been absolutely flat out with some big projects and have plenty to show you.

Here’s one we’ve recently wrapped up — a massive hardwood deck that has completely transformed the back of the house. Plenty of space, plenty of timber and built to last.

One of our Bendigo projects completed this week. 👌

This one definitely kept us on our toes with the weather, but the end result made it all worthwhile.

We gave this outdoor area a complete revamp, replacing the existing decking and pergola while adding a few extra finishing touches to bring the whole space together.

Another quality outdoor entertaining area, built to last.

This project had a bit of everything! 🔨
We rebuilt the existing deck, replaced the verandah beams and posts, installed stainless steel wire balustrading with aluminium posts, and finished it off with a beautiful hardwood handrail.
We also used a very cool product on the stairs that we’re excited to share… stay tuned for more on that! 👀

When the previous deck is poorly built, out of level, and nothing close to code, sometimes a full replacement is the only answer.

This one we stripped back completely and started fresh. Woodevo composite decking on an H4 subframe with joist protection tape throughout. Our client had recently been told they’d need a walker, so getting this deck level, safe, and compliant was more than just a build it was essential.

No oiling. No warping. No headaches. Just a deck built properly that they can use with confidence for years to come.

Underrated outdoor feature: the open pergola 🌿

Not every pergola needs a roof.

Plant a creeper vine over an open pergola and you’ll get natural shade through summer when you need it most. Then in winter, as the vine drops its leaves, the sun can come through and help warm the space.

A simple idea that’s been around for years and still works incredibly well.

Sometimes the old-school solutions are hard to beat
