Casual Civil Estimator – South West Earthworks

South West Earthworks is seeking an experienced Casual Estimator to join our growing, family-owned civil construction and earthworks business based in Hamilton, Victoria.

The role will involve:

🔹️ Reviewing plans, specifications and tender documents

🔹️ Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations

🔹️ Completing material and quantity take-offs

🔹️ Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing

🔹 ️Assisting with tender submissions

🔹 ️Working closely with management and our project team

We’re looking for someone with experience in civil construction, earthworks, drainage and concreting. ️Strong attention to detail, good computer skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Hours are flexible and may suit an experienced estimator seeking casual or part-time work. Remote work may also be considered for the right applicant.

Verge maintenance works completed this week in Nirranda along the Great Ocean Road for Fulton Hogan.

Removing the overgrown grass along the road verge allows water to flow freely from the road surface into the table drains. This helps improve drainage, extends the life of the road pavement, and reduces the risk of potholes forming.

Another quality project completed by South West Earthworks.

After being so impressed with our first CAT skid steer, we decided it was time to add another one to the fleet. This time we've gone a size bigger with a CAT 259D3.

The reliability, comfort and performance of these machines have made them a great addition to our business, and we're looking forward to putting the new machine to work on projects across the South West.

Safe to say we're getting pretty used to running yellow equipment! 💛💪🚜
