Stripes Group BUILT TO DELIVER.โ„ข

Stripes is making great progress at Arcadia Residential Estate in Tamworth NSW.

Tamworth is growing fast, and projects like Arcadia are turning raw earth into the infrastructure that new communities are built on ๐Ÿ

NSW has committed $68.2 million to the New England REZ roads that will carry the energy transition. Corridor upgrades in planning between Muswellbrook and Armidale, and a new oversize route around Tamworth.

Wind and solar components need roads with the width, the gradient and the drainage to take the load.

Like Rockvale Road, which we handed over to Armidale Regional Council in March - almost 2km of realignment and gradient reduction, widening and sealing, increased culvert capacity and new safety barrier on a designated B-double route.

๐Ÿ“ Stripes is on the ground in Inverell, erecting the structural steel for a new render plant at Bindaree Food Group's beef processing facility.

As one of the country's largest beef processors, this is a significant build for the region.

The main frame underway covers 1,400mยฒ of new plant.

And this is where in-house counts: the steel going up was fabricated in our own workshop, then delivered and erected by our crew.

Weโ€™re proud to be contributing to a regional operation that puts Australian beef on plates in 40+ countries.

This steel weighs a fraction of what it should ๐Ÿชถ

The frame going up here holds a roof close to 4 basketball courts in size, on beams far lighter than the job would normally call for.

Meet ILB.

A traditional steel beam is solid, and heavy. ILB rethinks what a beam is - using shape (not bulk) to carry the load.

It's the same reason cardboard is so strong for how light it is: shape the middle, and you get serious strength out of barely any material.

The result is a beam that's lighter, just as strong, and able to span much further. Fully engineered, and a direct replacement for traditional structural steel.

What that means on site:
โ†’ More open buildings, with fewer columns in the way
โ†’ Less steel to make, to truck, and to lift
โ†’ Builds that go up faster, and safer

All of it fabricated by Stripes ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

This is what happens when you stop accepting how things have always been built - and engineer for what's next.

๐Ÿ“Stripes is on the ground in Tamworth, delivering Stage 1 & 2 civil works at Arcadia Residential Estate for Maas Group Holdings

Earthworks, sewer and stormwater reticulation, a detention basin, water mains, pavements, kerb and gutter, and landscaping - everything that brings 66 new residential lots to life from the ground up.

Regional NSW needs housing. Tamworth is growing fast, and projects like Arcadia are how that growth turns into actual homes - lots ready to build on, services in the ground, streets people will live on ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ

Stripes is on the ground in Armidale, delivering two concrete causeway replacements on Boorolong Road for Armidale Regional Council

Years of use and major storm events had pushed both crossings past their useful life. The replacements give locals a road they can count on through the next storm season and the decades that follow - reliable access for every farmer ๐Ÿšœ, family, and freight run that depends on it.

The build runs through a live rural road. Temporary side tracks and careful sequencing keep Boorolong Road open through every phase of construction.

Self-delivered end-to-end.

๐Ÿšง Stripes is on the ground in Moonbi, delivering erosion repairs and a new concrete causeway for Tamworth Regional Council

George Street has been closed since 2022. The wet years of 2021 and 2022 tore out the bank of Moonbi Creek, took the road with it, and the community has been routing around it ever since.

The fix is substantial. Bank re-establishment, scour protection, a new reinforced concrete causeway, pavement reconstruction, guardrail and signage - all delivered inside a classified Key Fish Habitat ๐ŸŸ, which sets the bar for sequencing and environmental control.

Reopening a road Moonbi has been without since 2022.

That means fewer handovers, better collaboration between teams, and greater control over project delivery.

The result: projects delivered faster, more efficiently, and with higher quality.
