Rewild Horticulture was recently contracted to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of fruit trees and natives on a site where building works have been ongoing for several years.
An initial site visit revealed the challenging conditions these trees were facing. A detailed report outlining recovery and maintenance programs was established along with control points for monitoring.
After several months of visits, treatments and care, the trees are now showing great signs of recovery with flushes of new growth.
Professional horticultural practices paired with premium quality horticulture products where deployed to assist with this regeneration program.

Here at Rewild Horticulture our work is varied and specialised.

A few terms of the work we undertake and what they mean. Don't be overwhelmed by the 'words' we are using nature to help nature. Just with a little science and good practices to achieve the best outcomes we can.

Phytoremediation: Using specialized plants and trees to extract, degrade, or contain heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and excessive nutrients from the soil.

Bioremediation: Incorporating microbes, fungi, and natural enzymes to break down chemical contaminants like pesticide residues.Biofumigants & Cover Cropping:

Planting and incorporating specific cover crops (e.g., Ethiopian mustard) to enrich the soil microbiome and suppress soil-borne pathogens.

Soil Washing & Amendment: Treating the physical growing medium with chelants, organic matter, or appropriate salts to balance pH and correct salinity issues.

Some of the latest work we've been undertaking here at Rewild Horticulture.
This week we are heading to Currumbin, Guanaba and Mount Nathan for various projects.
Autumn is a beautiful time to be in the garden pruning back and giving a last feed before winter.
