Due to the remote location of our client, they couldn’t access mains power in a cost-efficient way. We worked closely with their project management team to design an off-grid system that could run up to 2 generators at once and have the option of installing a third generator as a backup plan to ensure the plant maintained its 100% operation rate.

Project Update: JBS Riverina Beef Plant

We have successfully completed the installation and integration of advanced water flow meters into the Ignition SCADA system at the JBS Riverina Beef Plant.

Our team managed the project as a turnkey solution, overseeing the entire scope, including both electrical and automation work as well as the mechanical installation of flow meters into the existing pipework.

𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗟𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗨𝗣𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦

Council is pleased to announce the completion of a significant electrical upgrade at the Leeton Sewer Treatment Plant (STP), bringing the facility up to current operational and safety standards. ⚡

The plant upgrades were initiated after the existing electrical system, particularly the main switchboard and transformer, were found to be undersized and causing power supply issues.

The project included the replacement and enhancement of the pole, transformer, internal mains, main switchboard, and automation systems. Additionally, the upgrades have provided significant spare capacity for future needs. The project also included the updating of the site’s electrical drawings, and included the installation of power factor correction and active harmonic filtering which will see the site’s power bills reduce. 📉

The project required a temporary shutdown to facilitate the delivery of these upgrades. While the contract allowed for a maximum shutdown period of 14 days, the actual shutdown was remarkably reduced to just 5 days, with commissioning beginning on the 6th day.

Project Completed:

The Leeton Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade Installation & Commissioning Phase is complete!

✅ Installed essential infrastructure, including fibre cables, generator, MSB/MCC, AHF, and SVAR, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
✅ Successfully managed and coordinated site changeover, including temporary power to ensure no downtime
✅ Completed detailed acceptance testing and provided commissioning plans
✅ Successfully commissioned well inside a dedicated 14 day period (5 days)

The Installation & Commissioning Phase of the Leeton Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade in full swing!

New supply transformer and mains cabling. New air conditioning, flooring and power quality monitoring and control system.

Project Update!

Here’s a glimpse into our work at the JBS Beef City Mill Controls Relocation project:
- 4 Pin Feeder VSDs powered up and configured
- 13 E300s powered and configured
- 3 Bucket elevator soft starters replaced with VSDs
- Existing processor replaced with a safety processor and additional cards installed
- Remote rack, safety powered and configured
