Safety means identifying risks early and putting the right controls in place.

At Bennett Park, ANR Engineering managed complex drainage renewal works involving deep excavation, existing infrastructure removal and the installation of new stormwater systems.

When asbestos-contaminated material was identified, our team implemented controlled-access zones, decontamination procedures, respiratory protection and air monitoring to safely manage the risk throughout the works.

Civil construction is not always straightforward. At ANR Engineering, how we handle complexity is what sets us apart.

At Bennett Park in Narwee, our team is delivering significant drainage renewal works such as deep excavation, removal of existing drainage infrastructure, installation of new stormwater pipes and pits, backfilling, and full reinstatement of the surrounding area.

During the project, testing confirmed the presence of asbestos-contaminated material within the work area. Managing this safely became a critical part of our delivery and we did not cut corners.

ANR implemented a comprehensive suite of controls: a dedicated on-site decontamination unit, strict exclusion zones, required respiratory protection and PPE for all personnel, continuous air monitoring, and controlled removal of all contaminated material. Plant, equipment, and personnel are fully decontaminated before leaving the controlled area every time.

Delivering infrastructure is about more than completing the physical works. It is about recognising the risks that come with complex construction environments and having the people, systems, and controls in place to manage them properly.

A full intersection upgrade. One contractor. Delivered to the highest standard.

At Miller Road in Villawood, ANR Engineering delivered a complete roundabout upgrade for Canterbury-Bankstown Council by improving traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and long-term road performance for the thousands of drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and bus passengers who move through this intersection every day.

The scope covered it all. New roundabout construction and road realignment. Asphalt resurfacing. Concrete kerb and gutter, footpaths, driveways, and raised median islands. New signage and pavement markings. Significant stormwater drainage upgrades. And the careful relocation of telecommunications services to accommodate the new road alignment -- all without impacting surrounding infrastructure.

Delivered through detailed coordination with utility authorities, Council representatives, and key stakeholders, all with access maintained for the local community throughout.

ANR Engineering delivered the civil construction works for the Miller Road Roundabout upgrade, transforming the existing intersection to improve traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and long-term infrastructure performance.

The project involved the construction of a new roundabout, road realignment, pavement reconstruction, asphalt resurfacing, new kerb and gutter, footpaths, driveways, raised median islands, signage, and pavement markings.

Extensive stormwater upgrades and careful coordination of telecommunications relocations were also completed to support the new road alignment while maintaining access and minimising disruption for the local community.

Through detailed planning, strong stakeholder coordination, and a commitment to quality, safety, and environmental compliance, ANR Engineering delivered a safer, more efficient connection for all road users.
