💧 1,000 kPa incoming water pressure way too high.

We originally attended this property for a spindle service, but during our inspection we noticed excessive water hammer and multiple taps starting to show signs of wear.

After testing the incoming mains pressure, we found it sitting at approximately 1,000 kPa nearly double what we want to see in a residential property.

High water pressure can put unnecessary stress on:
• Tapware & mixers
• Flexi hoses
• Toilets & valves
• Hot water systems
• Appliances
• Internal pipework

To protect the plumbing system and help prevent future failures, we installed a Pressure Limiting Valve (PLV) and reduced the incoming pressure to a safer operating level.

Sometimes the best plumbing work is preventing the problem before it becomes an emergency. 🔧💧

Gas compliance issue sorted ✅

The existing setup didn’t meet the required 650mm minimum clearance between the gas cooktop and rangehood.

We replaced both units, corrected the clearance, tested everything and got the kitchen back up and running properly.

Another maintenance job done right. 🔧🔥

Called out to a no hot water 🚿❌

On inspection, we found the hot water unit had been installed too low, allowing rainwater to pool around the burner area.

Over time, this can cause the burner to cut out, components to rust and the unit to stop firing properly.

Proper installation matters sometimes the smallest details can cause the biggest problems. 🔧🔥

“It’s only a $3–$5 washer…” 🔧

But if it’s not serviced properly, that small washer can cause leaks, wasted water and plenty of headaches.

This older tap could have been replaced, but it didn’t need to be. A proper service got it working and turning off correctly again—saving the customer money without cutting corners.
