⚡ MEET THE TEAM — BRAD ⚡

If you’ve had the STEC crew on site, chances are you’ve met Brad!

Brad is our Leading Hand and has been part of the business since 2018, when he joined us as a fresh-faced first-year electrical apprentice.

Since then, he’s worked his way through his apprenticeship, qualified as an electrician and stepped up into a leadership role within our team. 👏

Over the years, Brad has become a highly valued member of STEC — someone we can rely on to get the job done, support the crew and help keep things moving on site.

From first-year apprentice to Leading Hand — we’re pretty proud to have been part of Brad’s journey and even prouder to have him as part of ours. ⚡🖤💛

It’s called standby power — and TVs, computers, chargers and other devices can continue drawing small amounts of electricity while they’re plugged in.

One device might not seem like much, but across a whole home or business, it can add up.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Southern Tablelands Electrical & Control (STEC) has once again been named a State Finalist in the 2026 NECA Excellence Awards!

This marks our fourth consecutive year as a NECA Excellence Awards State Finalist – an achievement that reflects the dedication, skill and commitment of our entire team.

To be recognised alongside the best electrical contractors in New South Wales is an honour in itself. Every project we complete is driven by quality workmanship, innovation and a commitment to delivering the very best for our clients and our community.

🥇 Can we bring home another NECA State Title?

Unfortunately, we won't be attending this year's NECA Excellence Awards, as they are being held on the same evening as the Business NSW Regional Awards.

We're incredibly honoured to also be finalists in SIX categories at the Business NSW Regional Awards, making it impossible for us to be in two places at once! While we're disappointed to miss celebrating with the NECA community, being recognised across both award programs is something we're immensely proud of.
