Get out your sun hats and seeds people, Spring has sprung!!!!! 🌸☀️
How are we all!?? It’s been a minute I know, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my no social media moment, as I do every winter.
Thought I’d give you a Flower Patch update albeit slightly negative. Most of my Daffodils have been attacked by Cockatoos, a wombat decided to start a home in my Sweet peas and my Ranunculus are painfully slow and just not how they’d usually be at this time of year. I feel they are definitely punishing me for digging them up too early when we moved. Sooooo I have no idea yet when bunches will be back but fingers crossed it’s sooner rather than later. I’ve done all I can, it’s in natures hands.
Until then, I’ll be trying to wait patiently whilst sowing seeds, seeds and more seeds.

Side note for any gardeners new to Ranunculus and wondering why mine are slow this year….. Ranunc’s need to die back before you dig their corms. This gives them time to put all there energy into the corm for beautiful big blooms the following year, I did not do this last year as we moved, they were literally the last thing we moved from our previous property but they did still have some flowers left when I dug them. They will bounce back but I don’t think I’ll have as many flowers this spring. Hope this helps! X
