Our client had a clear vision for her new kitchen - a light, timeless space with the beautiful natural movement of the stone taking centre stage.

She carefully selected the finishes, and our job was to bring it all together. From the stone splashback and waterfall island to the crisp white cabinetry, every element allows that statement stone to shine.

Meet Tupou 🔨 3rd Year Apprentice at AllRise

Tupou is one of those young blokes every builder hopes to find.

A proud Tongan man, born and raised in Queanbeyan, with two older brothers already in the trade, it’s safe to say building runs in the family.

Now in his third year of his apprenticeship, Tupou brings an attitude that’s becoming harder and harder to find - he genuinely wants to learn 🙌🏽

He’s always asking questions, eager to improve, and never shies away from a challenge. Whether it’s mastering a new skill or lending a hand wherever it’s needed, his work ethic speaks for itself.

Off the tools, you’ll usually find him pulling on the boots for the Queanbeyan Roos or on the basketball court. His competitive nature, discipline and team-first mentality carry through into everything he does.

He’s an absolute character. The kind of bloke who’s always got a smile on his face, always stirring someone up with a joke and somehow manages to make everyone around him laugh. He brings a great energy to site, and even on the toughest days, he’s someone who can put a smile on your face.

What we love most about Tupou is his genuine passion for carpentry. He doesn’t just see it as a job… he genuinely enjoys the craft, takes pride in his work and is excited to keep learning every single day. That’s a breath of fresh air to see these days.

We’re excited to watch him continue to grow into an exceptional carpenter, and we’re proud to be part of that journey.

Meet Marko — Qualified Carpenter at AllRise.

If there’s one story that sums up Marko, it’s this…

Long before he officially joined AllRise, he was already part of the team.

Marko and Dyl have been best mates for years, and after finishing work on his own job, he’d often rock up to our sites just to lend a hand. He never asked for anything in return. He simply wanted to help the boys out and be part of what we were building.

It didn’t take long to realise we needed him on the team full-time.

That work ethic, initiative and genuine love for the trade told us everything we needed to know.

Fast forward a few years, and we honestly couldn’t imagine life on site without him.

Proudly Croatian, Marko is just as passionate away from the tools as he is on them. He has captained the Queanbeyan City FC First grade soccer team, leading by example both on the field and on the job site.

He’s also a devoted family man, a fiercely loyal mate and one of the most genuine blokes you’ll ever meet.

Marko brings plenty of laughs to site, keeps the team spirits high and is someone everyone enjoys being around. But when it’s time to work, he switches gears instantly. His attention to detail, pride in his craftsmanship and willingness to go the extra mile make him an invaluable part of the AllRise team.

Some people apply for a job. Marko just kept showing up. And continues to everyday 🙌🏽

This deck at Googong Beauty Room had served its purpose, but years of weather meant regular maintenance was becoming a must. We replaced it with EkoDeck composite boards for a fresh, modern finish that will look great for years to come.

It’s the selections like these that get us excited 👀 🤍

When clients put together a palette this beautiful, we can’t help but start imagining the finished home. Every texture, every finish and every detail has been carefully chosen, and we genuinely can’t wait to bring it to life.

Now… we wait.

Council approval is often the longest part of the entire building process, and while it can feel like nothing is happening, the reality couldn’t be more different.

Long before we step foot on site, countless hours have already gone into your project.

For Aidan, that means seven-day weeks. There’s no such thing as a day off. Saturdays are when he goes over the week. Sunday is when he’s prepping the week. Hours on the phone with clients, suppliers, engineers and consultants. Then onto the computer reviewing plans, pricing, schedules and contracts… before jumping straight back on the phone again.

It’s a side of building most people never see.

The planning, coordination and problem-solving that happens before construction even begins is what makes a build run smoothly once the tools come out.

At AllRise, we believe the best builds don’t happen by chance—they’re the result of meticulous planning, clear communication and an obsession with getting the details right from day one.

So while we’re waiting for that council approval, we’re already hard at work behind the scenes, making sure everything is ready for the moment we can finally break ground.

Meet Dylan — Lead Carpenter at AllRise.

If you’ve had work completed by AllRise over the past few years, chances are you’ve met Dylan.

Dyl completed his carpentry apprenticeship with AllRise and has grown into our Lead Carpenter… a journey we’re incredibly proud of.

But to us, Dylan is much more than an employee. He’s family.

He’s been with us through so many milestones, and over the years we’ve watched him grow into not only an exceptional carpenter, but an incredible leader. He’s become part of our family, and we honestly couldn’t imagine AllRise without him ❤️

Today, Dyl leads our team on site, mentors our apprentices and makes sure every project is completed to the incredibly high standards we’re known for.

He’s dependable, humble and one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he takes enormous pride in every home he works on.

Watching him grow from a young apprentice into the leader he is today has been one of AllRise’s proudest achievements.

At AllRise, we’re passionate about investing in people, not just projects. Dylan is proof that when you back good people, incredible things happen.

Meet the man behind AllRise.

This is Aidan — founder and director of AllRise Building & Construction.

At just 33 years old, Aidan has spent almost half his life building homes, chasing perfection and creating a business that’s built on trust, quality and doing things properly.

Born and raised in Queanbeyan, he’s a proud local through and through. A former Queanbeyan Blues junior and now a Queanbeyan Roos First Grade player with more than 180 First Grade games under his belt, commitment and loyalty have always been part of who he is.

He’s also a husband, a father of three, and the kind of mate who would drop everything to help the people he loves. Quiet by nature and never one to seek the spotlight, Aidan lets his work do the talking.

He left Karabar High to follow a dream that started with his Pop, becoming a carpenter and learning the trade the old-school way. Ten years ago, he backed himself and founded AllRise.

Since then, he’s worked on hundreds of homes across Canberra and the surrounding region, earning a reputation as one of the area’s most sought-after carpenters.

What sets him apart isn’t just experience—it’s the way his mind works.

He has an incredible ability to solve problems, visualise solutions and build things others simply can’t. Every detail matters. Every finish is inspected. Good enough has never been part of his vocabulary.

Because to Aidan, building isn’t just a job.

It’s a craft.

And if it doesn’t meet his own incredibly high standards, it doesn’t leave the site.
