New Trend Alert 🚨

One detail we've been seeing more frequently in contemporary façade design is the use of tonal variation to add visual interest.

Rather than introducing contrasting colours, the façade at Brimbank Tech School (in progress) achieves depth through a combination of clear anodised and bright dipped silver anodised aluminium cladding. The result is a refined play between matte and gloss finishes that shifts with changing light conditions, creating a façade that feels both understated and expressive.

Designed to capture the feeling of dappled sunlight ☀️🌳

At the Malaysian Consulate General, Spotted Gum Click-on Battens were used to create a suspended timber ceiling, with lighting concealed behind the battens to produce a soft interplay of light and shadow throughout the space.

A simple detail that transforms the battens from a ceiling feature into an experience.

Designed to bridge two cultures through materiality, light and form.

At the Malaysian Consulate General, Spotted Gum Click-on Battens were used to create a suspended timber ceiling inspired by filtered natural light through trees.

Lighting positioned behind the battens creates a shifting play of light and shadow throughout the interior, bringing warmth, rhythm and softness to the space.

Designed by Cheah Saw, the project brings together Malaysian and Australian influences to create a calm and welcoming experience for visitors.

A space that feels considered from every angle.

Curved timber softens the hallway and brings a natural sense of movement through the space. Greenery is layered in to strengthen the biophilic approach, while integrated lighting and concealed service doors keep the focus on form, materiality and flow.

Everything works together to create warmth without visual clutter, where detail does the heavy lifting.

The Daldy Street Development in Auckland is one of the more demanding commercial fitouts we've delivered, with thousands of mitred batten junctions running across the atrium, tenancies and conference areas.

Every mitre was pre-cut and packaged with dedicated mitre blocks, so the install team could move floor to floor without sacrificing finish quality.
