This is what "behind the scenes" actually looks like. 🔦

No filters, no reshoot, just insulation pulled back and every corner of a Gold Coast roof cavity checked by hand. It's not glamorous, but it's the only way to know what's really going on up there.

This is the part of the job nobody sees, but it's the part that matters most.

That smell isn't going away on its own. 🐭

If there's a musty, rotting smell you can't track down at home or work, it's usually an animal that's died inside a wall, roof, or subfloor cavity, somewhere you can't see or reach.

Here's the part most people don't expect: the carcass often can't be removed. When that happens, we treat the odour at the source and sanitise the area so you can get back to normal.

If a smell has lasted more than a few days and you can't trace it yourself, it's time to bring in help.

It wasn't just the smell. 🐀

A Robina café had to close for two days over a severe dead-animal odour they couldn't locate on their own. Our technicians arrived at 5am, before trading hours, and traced it to an inaccessible area below the café.

But that wasn't the whole story. Fresh rodent droppings turned up during the inspection, too, so what looked like a one-off dead animal job turned into active rodent control as well. Both got treated during the same visit.

Dealing with a smell you can't explain, or noticing droppings you can't trace? Don't wait it out. Call us on 0430 017 737 or send a message for a free quote.

Not just rats. 🐀🐭

Staffs at this Burleigh Heads construction site kept spotting rats and mice throughout the basement and ground-floor areas. Our technicians inspected all three basement levels, found significant droppings, and had approval to start treatment the same day, no delays.

At the follow-up, things had quietened down significantly. We're still keeping rodent control running though, active construction sites keep changing, so we're staying on top of it.

Spring means rats and mice too. 🐀🐭

As the Gold Coast warms up, rodents start moving, nesting, and breeding faster. If you've noticed droppings near skirting boards or pantries, fresh gnaw marks on cables or packaging, or scratching in the roof at night, you're not alone, and it's worth acting early.

Caught early, it's a quick fix. Left alone, it turns into a much bigger job.

🐭 A riverside mansion, rats everywhere, and big pest companies weren't fixing it.
The owner had already tried the big guys. In and out in 15 minutes, 6 bait boxes, done. Problem never went away.

So their agent called us. Two techs were on-site the next morning and actually spent over an hour inspecting properly, this wasn't a normal-sized house.
What we found:
Fresh, heavy droppings in multiple rooms
Entry points from the garage, garden, kitchen, cinema room AND living room
Rodents moving through almost the whole property, not just one area
We showed the owner exactly where the problem was coming from, got those entry points sealed, then placed bait boxes where activity was heaviest, plus a few extra spots to stay ahead of it.

Big homes need more than a 15-minute drive-by. If that's all your current provider is doing, you're probably still missing the real problem. 📞 0430 017 737

🐀 A "dead rat smell" that turned out to be way bigger than one rat.

A Southport office called us in a panic. Bad smell, and staff swore they could hear rats moving inside the walls. We were there within 2 hours.

Turns out the smell was coming from a dead rat stuck inside a wall cavity we couldn't reach without tearing into the building. But that wasn't even the real problem…

We found fresh droppings ALL through the roof space. The dead rat was just one of many still active in there. 😬

Treated everything we could access, set up rodent control on the spot, and now working through a full building treatment.

Moral of the story: finding one dead rat doesn't mean you're in the clear. If you're still hearing scratching or smelling something, chances are there's more happening than you think.

🐀 Bad smell at a shared property? That’s not the kind of “common area” anyone wants.

Another commercial dead animal removal and rodent control service completed at a body corporate-managed property in Tallebudgera.

Our technician located and removed the deceased animal from the affected area before carrying out sanitation and odour treatment to help manage contamination and smell.

During the inspection, signs of ongoing rodent activity were also identified, so a targeted rodent control treatment was carried out to help reduce further activity around the property.

Dead animals can quickly lead to strong odours, flies, maggots, fleas and other insects — while active rodents can contaminate roof spaces, storage areas and shared property sections.

Basically… one dead rat can turn into a full building complaint if ignored. 😅

🐀 Rodents don’t care if it’s a rental… they’ll still move in without approval.

Another rodent control treatment completed for a rental property managed by a Gold Coast real estate agency after rat or mouse activity was reported.

Our technician inspected accessible areas for droppings, scratching activity, nesting evidence and common rodent travel paths before carrying out targeted rodent treatment.

Rats and mice can squeeze through small gaps around rooflines, pipes, garages and building edges. Once inside, they can contaminate roof spaces, damage stored items, create odours and keep tenants awake with scratching noises at night.

Basically, the worst kind of tenant.

🪳🐜🕷️ When cockroaches, ants AND spiders all show up… that’s not a house, that’s a group booking.

Another general pest control treatment completed in Coomera after cockroach, ant and spider activity was found around the property.

Our technician inspected and treated suitable internal and external pest-prone areas, including common hiding spots for cockroaches, active ant trails, corners, cracks, building edges and spider-web activity zones.

General pest control is not just about spraying what you can see. It’s about treating the areas pests use to hide, travel, feed and build up quietly over time.
