HAVEN PROJECT | IN COLLABORATION WITH SAL LIGHTING

Great lighting does more than illuminate a space, it shapes the atmosphere, highlights architectural details and brings the overall design to life.

For the Haven project, light pollution was a key consideration. With this commercial space located close to residential apartment buildings, it was essential to minimise unwanted light spill and reduce the potential impact on neighbouring residents.

We partnered with SAL National , who provided a carefully considered lighting design and quality light fittings selected to deliver the required performance while directing light where it was needed most. This helped limit excessive glare and unwanted spill beyond the project boundaries without compromising the finished result.

We’re proud to showcase the completed project in collaboration with SAL Lighting, combining thoughtful lighting design, quality products and the precision installation that defines every SMG Electrical project.

The SMG Electrical team has a busy six months ahead, with 91 warehouse units across five major projects now underway:

• Oncor – 1–5 Eileen Street, Underwood | 17 warehouses
• The Helm – 47 Enterprise Street, Cleveland | 16 warehouses
• Lynq – 33–35 Rivendell Drive, Tweed Heads | 15 warehouses
• Connected – Lot 111 Dundee Drive, Stapylton | 28 warehouses
• Connected Stage 2 – Lot 115 Dundee Drive, Stapylton | 15 warehouses

Originally from New Zealand, Jack is a qualified electrician who brings plenty of skill, enthusiasm and great energy to the SMG Electrical team.

Jack’s positive attitude and strong work ethic make him a great addition both on site and within the crew. Away from work, if Jacks not being a food critic, he’s an avid Warriors fan,backing the boys through every high and low of the NRL season.

Danyon started with SMG Electrical 4 years ago as an apprentice, and in that time he has become a valued part of the team. As he gets ready to qualify and head overseas for his next chapter, we want to thank him for everything he has brought to the crew.

Your hard work, loyalty, and attitude have never gone unnoticed. You’ve been more than a great employee you’ve been a great mate and a big part of the SMG Electrical crew.

Youngy has been part of the SMG family for 9 months now and has already become an absolute cornerstone of our residential team. Whether it’s a full home renovation rewire, a switchboard upgrade, or getting the lights just right in your dream home — Youngy gets it done, and he gets it done properly.

An A-Grade licensed electrician with a calm head, a sharp eye for detail, and a work ethic that speaks for itself — clients love him and the team loves having him around.

Off the tools, Youngy is a proud family man to his partner Jen and their two girls, and if he’s not wrangling the family dog, you’ll find him planning the next adventure somewhere on the map. ✈️
