There’s a lot to think about when designing a kitchen and sometimes the small layout decisions are the ones that make the biggest difference once you actually start using it.

These are 7 kitchen mistakes we see come up fairly often and a few of the things we always try to work through early in the design stage.

If you’ve renovated before, what’s one thing you’d do differently next time?

And if you’re planning a kitchen now, save this one for when you’re going through your drawings.

Absolutely loved how this kitchen came together!

The soft cabinetry, warm timber and curved details all work so nicely together and give the space a really relaxed feel.

The rounded island and curved end cabinetry were some of our favourite details in this one, with the timber doors and shelving adding that extra bit of warmth. Another Project completed for Drift Building

A little walkthrough of a wardrobe we recently completed in Benowa on the Gold Coast.

We really enjoyed putting this one together For our beautiful Client .dona.gp who is honestly the most amazing person and a pleasure to work with!

Our brief was:
1. Plenty of lighting “I want to have a disco getting ready”
2. Maximise space for all my clothes “I love online shopping way too much”
3. Make it look Fancy “Fancy Clancy”
4. Organise all the trades “time limited”
5. Be clean “my mum is staying with me and she will yell at you”

With this brief we got to work and turned an old space into a space only fit for you!

Designed, manufactured and installed by the Nalu team here on the Gold Coast!

Being a part of the Lake House renovation was such a great opportunity for the Nalu team and one we absolutely loved being involved in.

We had the pleasure of manufacturing the cabinetry package throughout this project, bringing an incredible design by Jacob Hough to life.

The level of detail throughout the design was seriously impressive and it was such a great experience working alongside Jacob and Alex from Meka Build Corp. to see it all come together.

Really proud of what the Nalu team produced on this one 🤎

Every business owner has said it…

“I’ll finish early today”*

Then one phone call turns into three, a quick job becomes a long one, lunch disappears, and somehow it’s dark outside.

Maybe tomorrow!😂

Some projects stay with you long after they’re finished.

Not because they’re the biggest.
Not because they’re the most complex.
