🍕🔧 WE’RE BRINGING THE PIZZA! 🌈🤣

We’re pretty excited to announce that My Plumbing Man has jumped on board as the Pizza Party Sponsor for Oxenford State School’s Monty Monstar Colour Fun Run! 🥳

💙🔧 DOUBLE TROUBLE AT MPM THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! 🔧💙

We’ve been lucky enough to have not one, but TWO students joining Glen over the school holidays for their two-week plumbing placements!

Harley has joined us from Gold Coast Trades College and Riley from TAFE Queensland, and with week one already done, they’ve certainly had a pretty good introduction to just how varied a week in plumbing can be! 😂

Between them, the boys have been learning about and getting involved in:

🔧 Downpipes
🚽 Broken cisterns and toilet repairs
📋 Quoting and assessing jobs
🚰 Tap repairs
🏠 Kitchen rough-in
🔥 An Apricus installation or two
🔥 Gas cooktop work and gas line removal
🛁 Vanity installation
🚿 Bathroom fit-off following a renovation
🏠 Roof leak repairs
🌧️ Stormwater alleviation
🔨 New guttering and flashing
🚿 Changes to an existing bathroom renovation
⚡ Electric hot water systems
🚽 Installation of new toilets

…and that’s just week one! 😳😂

We’ve been welcoming Cert II students out with Glen for quite a few years now and it’s something we genuinely enjoy being part of. There’s only so much you can learn in a classroom, and these placements give students the opportunity to get out on site, experience the trade firsthand and see just how much variety there really is in plumbing.

From maintenance and renovations to roofing, drainage, gas and hot water, no two days with Glen are ever quite the same! 🔧💧

Both Harley and Riley have jumped in and had a great first week, and there’s still another full week to go. We’re looking forward to seeing what else we can throw at them before their placements are finished! 😂👏
