When Keith and Anne needed a home that suited them and their lifestyle changes, leaving their Helensvale acreage wasn’t an option. Instead, their kids moved into the main homestead, and we designed and built a custom, fully accessible home right alongside it!

Zero step transitions, wide doorways, and complete independence, with their family and care just a few steps away. Proud to have handled this one from initial design and council approvals through to handover.

Our clients didn’t want to leave their street, but had a huge unused front yard.

The plan was to build a brand new second home on the front, move in to that, and rent out the original property behind for passive income.

Navigating a sloping block and strict heritage overlays, Kai Konstruct designed a layout that maximised the views and elevated the whole property with a signature entry.

Today, they live in the new build while the original home generates passive income. What started as a second dwelling became the best home in the street.

The dream was simple: a brand new second home on their acreage property, that look’s out over their horse paddocks, to downsize and unlock the land they already loved.

After 18 months stalled with council, Mick and Lisa needed a team to take it the rest of the way.

We took the project on completely, re-design, council approvals, and building onsite, start to finish in 7 months!

Today, they live in their second home while their original house generates passive income, without ever leaving the property they love.
