A-Grade sandstone retaining walls in Byron Bay. 🪨

For this project, we installed A-Grade sandstone retaining walls throughout the property, working with the natural levels of the site to create both functional retention and a strong architectural feature.

We also installed fully sawn sandstone steps, creating clean transitions between levels while maintaining the same natural stone finish throughout the landscaping.

The combination of large-format A-Grade sandstone and precision-cut steps ties seamlessly into the surrounding landscape and coastal setting, bringing together functionality, durability and a premium finish.

Last week, we headed down to Byron Bay to capture one of our recent projects for , where we were contracted to install blocky random sandstone retaining and feature walls throughout the property.

The natural tones and texture of the sandstone tie in seamlessly with the surrounding environment and complement the exterior palette of the home.

Paired with the impressive landscaping, the stone walls have become a standout feature across the property, showcasing just how versatile sandstone can be when it’s thoughtfully integrated into the overall design.

A great example of natural stone adding texture, character and a timeless finish to an already beautiful home.
