It was great to see more than 100 students attend the recent GUARD x Women in Engineering x Griffith Racing Team networking event.

As a proud sponsor of Griffith Racing Team, SEE Group's Ryan Buckley joined an industry panel alongside Boeing, Thiess, FleetGuru.ai and GHD, sharing career experiences, discussing the growing role of AI across industry and offering advice to students preparing to enter the workforce.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with future STEM professionals and share insights into careers in construction and engineering.

THROWBACK THURSDAY | PACIFIC HIGHWAY UPGRADE, 2016

Rewinding ten years to SEE Civil’s work on the Pacific Highway Upgrade between Woolgoolga and Ballina.

Completed in August 2016, the Wave 2 Early Works package covered a 3.8-kilometre section near Pimlico and included foundation treatment, drainage and embankment construction.

As National Safe Work Month continues, this week’s theme, For Health – Looking After More Than Physical Safety, reminds us that safety is about more than preventing injuries.

It’s about managing fatigue, staying hydrated, supporting mental wellbeing and checking in on our mates when something doesn’t seem right.

At SEE, creating a safe workplace means creating a healthy workplace too.

🌊 A new space to enjoy at Mooloolaba Foreshore!

A major milestone has been reached on the Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation Project Stage Two, with the first completed section of the new terraced seawall opening last month for the community to enjoy.

Located in front of the Surf Club, the new space offers a great spot to take in the coastal views, watch for whales and enjoy the foreshore.

More improvements are still to come, including beach access stairs, an all-abilities access ramp and additional landscaping.

The progressive opening of completed areas provides the community with an early glimpse of the finished foreshore and the future gathering space it will become — while continuing to play an important role in protecting the coastline.

We’re proud to be part of this transformation for the Mooloolaba community. 💙

💥 BIG. PRECISE. IMPRESSIVE.

The Providence East team recently delivered one of the largest blast operations in SEE's history, delivering a major milestone that paves the way for large-scale earthworks for our client, Stockland.

Projects of this size don't happen by chance. They take detailed planning, specialist expertise and a team committed to getting the job done safely and efficiently.

With around 24,000 tonnes of material processed every shift, the scale of this operation is something to behold. A fantastic result by the team and another example of what can be achieved when capability, experience and teamwork come together.

THROWBACK THURSDAY | MOUNT LINDESAY HIGHWAY, 2020

Six years ago this month, SEE Civil completed an upgrade of the Mount Lindesay Highway through Jimboomba.

The project included duplicating the highway between Camp Cable Road and Johanna Street and constructing a new northbound alignment approximately three metres higher to improve flood immunity.

A three-span bridge, new pavements, retaining structures, lighting and traffic-signal modifications were also delivered as part of the works.

Six years later, the upgrade continues to support safer and more reliable journeys through the growing community.
