Here’s a video rundown of the Fenech Supreme series I did a while back with Marcus from Mooloolaba Music

Another Masterbuilt getting its first coats of finish applied.

This Grand Auditorium features a California Redwood top, grown right here in Australia, paired with a mind-blowing set of fiddleback Australian Blackwood.

The figure in this Blackwood is something else! 🤩

I can’t wait to hear this one, and I’m sure the customer can’t either. 😉

Australian ringed Gidgee and Cedar top with flamed/fiddleback Australian Blackwood bindings and arm rest.
Yes the Gidgee back and sides is easily one of the trickiest woods to bend. Being (I believe) the second hardest timber in the world, it’s not for the faint hearted. I think this build using Gidgee puts me at about a dozen so I’ve learnt some tricks along the way.

Can’t wait to hear this combo and I can’t wait for it to meet its owner.

Flush trim cut around the edges.

I know I should be concentrating 🤔……and I am; but I’m also thinking it’s Friday and I’d love a steak burger 🍔and chips!

😉🤦‍♂️

This week it’s all about Masterbuilt builds and this Tiger Myrtle guitar is coming together very nicely!

Here is an incredible Grand Auditorium Masterbuilt underway featuring some fiddleback Australian Blackwood and some Australian grown California Redwood I’ve had in my collection for about 8 yrs!
The customer has chosen well and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the build process thus far.
Finishing to come next and I’ll definitely be drooling 🤤 as the finish goes on…… can’t wait.
