No Kitchen Is an Island 🏝️

A great presentation by Joe Snell today at the KBDI event at Austaron Surfaces. Sharing the story behind his own home and the idea that a kitchen should feel like it belongs to the home — not simply be dropped into it.

We were pretty excited to hear Joe talk through the design, especially knowing we had the privilege of helping bring the project to life.

Our team personally worked on the fabrication and installation of all the Austaron solid surface throughout the home, that make the finished spaces feel so seamless.

A beautiful home, a clever concept, and a project we’re very proud to have been part of.

A custom bar and event fit-out at Mouses Rainforest Retreat, Tamborine Mountain, featuring detailed joinery and cleverly designed self-contained rooms.

From the bar and service areas through to the accommodation spaces, every element was designed and crafted to balance functionality, durability and a considered aesthetic — creating a space that feels right at home in the Gold Coast hinterland.
