✨ Walk-in robe transformation ✨

We recently completed this custom walk-in robe, transforming the space to provide our customer with plenty of additional storage while keeping everything clean, practical and streamlined.

The new robe features:

• Custom hanging cabinetry
• Additional top shelving to maximise storage
• Multiple drawer units finished in Ligurian Walnut
• Premium Blum ANTARO soft-close drawer runners
• Open shelving for easy-access storage
• Black hanging rails and detailing to complement the walnut finish
• Full supply and installation by Kingfisher Renovations

We love how the combination of the light cabinetry, Ligurian Walnut and black accents has come together, while making much better use of every inch of the walk-in robe.

Most importantly, another very happy customer! 🙌

If your wardrobe is crying out for more storage, we can design and build a solution to make the most of the space you already have.

🔩It’s what’s on the inside that counts too! 🔩

Whilst recently working with a new customer, they asked for our opinion on their kitchen, which was only around 12 months old.

Upon taking a closer look, we were genuinely shocked by the standard of workmanship and hardware used. Doors were already out of level, while drawer runners were failing, causing drawers to drop under everyday weight and sit unevenly.

It highlighted something that can be so easily overlooked when choosing a new kitchen — the quality of the hardware behind it.

It’s completely understandable that when choosing a new kitchen, most of the attention goes to the exciting bits — colours, doors, benchtops and finishes. But what you can’t see is just as important. Poor-quality runners and hinges can sag, lose alignment and fail far sooner than they should.

This is exactly why at Kingfisher Renovations, we only use premium-quality hardware, including Blum Australia Pty Ltd MERIVOBOX and TANDEMBOX Antaro drawer systems, along with Blum soft-close hinges as standard. These are areas we simply refuse to compromise on.

Because a quality kitchen shouldn’t just look great — it should be built to last. 🙌

✨ The kitchen renovation that transformed the whole home✨

This was so much more than a kitchen renovation — an incredible transformation and an absolute pleasure to work on for such a lovely local couple!

So, what did we do? By removing the existing dividing wall, we were able to completely open up the floorplan, connecting the kitchen, dining and living areas and creating one large, bright and functional family space.

The new kitchen features crisp white cabinetry paired with warm timber overheads, stone benchtops, a generous island with plenty of seating and integrated lighting to bring everything together.

But our favourite part? 👀

The feature window.

We created a custom splashback window behind the benchtop, perfectly framing the home’s existing natural rock wall outside. Not only does it bring extra natural light into the kitchen, it turns something that was already part of the property into a pretty incredible feature.

New flooring throughout the adjoining spaces helps everything flow seamlessly, making what were once separate areas feel like one completely transformed home.

Thinking about making better use of the space in your home? Sometimes changing the layout can make just as much difference as the finishes themselves.

✨ Built to grow with your family ✨

One of our favourite things to create is cabinetry that isn’t just for now… but for years to come.

These custom built-in units were designed to evolve with the space — from a calm, functional nursery to a chilled kids’ room and beyond. Same cabinetry, completely different feel 👌

✔️ Integrated storage to keep everything tidy
✔️ Floating bed design for a clean, seamless look
✔️ Feature shelving to personalise the space as they grow
✔️ Warm LED lighting to create a soft, practical finish

This is what we love about custom work — it’s not just about how it looks today, it’s about how it works for your family long term.

Big shoutout to the legends involved:

🔹 Lighting: Voltelex Electrical
