McCosker Contracting

We're looking forward to attending the Gladstone Engineering Alliance Major Industry Conference next week!

It's a great opportunity to introduce our new Pre-Contracts Manager, Kevin Mills, who will be speaking at the Insights into Supply Chain session on Day 2.

Our team will also have a stall, so come and say hello, have a chat and find out what we've been working on.

Good crew. Good gear. Good work.

As we grow into new regions, we're looking for skilled people who want more than a job. They want a team they're proud to be part of.

Safe Work is for Life.

Every shift on a McCosker project starts the same way: the whole crew together, talking through the day's hazards, plans and how everyone's travelling.

This National Safe Work Month, we're backing Safe Work Australia's message. Safety isn't just about today's shift. It's about every shift after it, and the life you go home to.

And with World Mental Health Day (10 Oct), we're asking our crews to check in on each other, not just the job.

Safety First. Production Always.

Words like this mean a lot to our team. 🙌

Recently our crew working at the Flinders Substation Project jumped on graders to help bring a fire near Hughenden under control. Thank you, Clancy, for taking the time to share your thanks, and to Alex and Sam from Hall Civil & Earthworks for their support.

We're proud to be part of the communities we work in, not just the projects we build there.

Mud, hills and early starts? That's just a regular Tuesday for us! 🚜😅

Proud to back the upcoming Lake Awoonga Adventure Race on the 24th October.

Good luck to the competitors and lets get out there to cheer them on!

🚜🏃‍♂️ A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO MCCOSKER! 🏃‍♀️🚜

The Lake Awoonga Adventure Race team would like to give a huge shout-out to McCosker Contracting for their generous donation to this year's race!

Let's face it... adventure racers love a challenge. Mud? No problem. Hills? Bring them on. Early starts? Well... we're still debating that one.

But when it comes to putting on an event of this size, it takes the support of amazing local businesses like McCosker to help keep everything moving in the right direction.

Thanks to their generous donation, we'll be able to add even more excitement for our competitors and make race day even more memorable.

While our participants will be spending the day following arrows around the course, we're pretty sure McCosker are the experts when it comes to moving things bigger than a kayak, mountain bike, and slightly exhausted racer!

From all of us at the Lake Awoonga Adventure Race, thank you McCosker for your support, generosity, and commitment to our local community.

You're absolute legends!

27km down, 60km to go! 🏃‍♂️

We're cheering on Mark McArdle, McCosker Site Superintendent, as he runs 87km this October for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.

The RFDS reaches one Australian every two minutes, often in communities hours from the nearest hospital.

Working across regional Queensland, our team at McCosker Contracting knows how vital that care is.

We're proud to get behind Mark and we're sharing in case our community would like to aswell.

Welcome to our 2026 D2CC crew! 👷‍♀️👷

Our new group of local high school students are kitted out and have started the 2026 Doorways 2 Civil Construction (D2CC) Program.

They'll get hands-on with civil construction work, learn to use power tools, practise basic surveying, and complete safety inductions and first aid training.

Thank you to GASSIP, our local schools and the crews who mentor these students. Building the next generation of our industry starts right here in our community.

Welcome aboard!

Proudly supporting our community since 1995

At McCosker, we believe in building more than infrastructure. Where we can, we're proud to back the local clubs, schools, events and causes that make our region a great place to live, work and play.
