🏚️ After months spent designing a home that perfectly suits the lifestyle of our clients, we are underway this week pouring our fourth slab for 2024, this time at Burua.

The owner's shared this photo with us during the slab pour, along with their appreciation for how much goes into the process of building a home and how many skilled trades are involved.

Part of the appeal of building a Custom Designed home, is that you get to be involved in the entire process.... from planning to colour and material selections.

When you build, the home isn't just a thing you bought. It's a family home that you (as the clients) and us (as the builders) all collectively had a hand in creating.

GPS Homes are enjoying amazing support from the Gladstone community. We expect to be building around 20+ homes during 2024. It's often a seven day a week endeavour.
Designing…… Drafting……. Building...... Trying to stay on top of changes and paperwork…….. Working around random schedule changes and unpredictable weather.

Receiving this photo reminds us that we aren’t just doing a job. It really hits home what an amazing experience building can be for the entire family. These kids will grow within the walls that we built and never forget the excitement of visiting their future home with their parents. They'll get to see the varying stages of construction, right up until the day they first move into their new bedrooms.

The final GPS Home to be handed over for 2022 was Wyndham Road, Burua for Tony and Karen Redgrave. Thankfully, completed just in time for Christmas lunch on the patio.

Tony and Karen were able to live on the property during the build and had front row seats to all building activity.

The home is designed to perfectly complement the site and is located on the highest point of the block overlooking the property and dam.

It was an absolute pleasure to build for this family but we can't imagine it will happen again, as they now have their literal 'forever' home.

Congratulations Tony and Karen and thanks again for choosing to build with GPS Homes.

The 2nd of 3 homes handed over in the week before Christmas went to Cameron and Jemmah in Calliope Chase Estate.
After a number of challenges that began with fitting a large home on a corner block, frame delivery delays, then the added delays of council not approving the client's preferred shed location, we finally were able to get Cameron, Jemmah and their two young boys into their amazing new home for Christmas. Plenty of work went into this one from Cameron Masters, with retaining walls being built and now he just has the fence to complete before he can put up his feet.
Congratulations to you both and thanks again for choosing to build with the local team from GPS Homes.

We couldn't be more happy for Courtney, Tristan and their little man, Spencer, who received the keys to their stunning new home recently, just in time for Christmas.
The home looks amazing with high ceilings, remote control fans and those funky feature tiles!!
Courtney was a savvy shopper and selected some classy AEG appliances, custom barn doors, gorgeous fog-free heated mirrors with LED's to the ensuite and a functional electronic front door lock.
After the contract was signed, the entire ensuite was redesigned to create a luxury wet-room with freestanding bath.
All the while, Tristan agreed to all changes while saying, "As long as I get my shed!!"
While they still have some additional projects planned for this home, the entire team at GPS Homes looks forward to building again for this wonderful young family in the future.

You feel more like our friends"

To reach the end of construction on Eleni and Nathan Shaw's beautiful new home in Cloudscape Estate, Calliope recently and hear them make that statement, confirms that we must be doing something right.
(To clarify, Graeme IS a Builder, Cameron is a Tradesman and Shaun just talks a lot!!)

Eleni and Nathan made some great design, colour and fitting choices (mostly within budget) and the outcome was fantastic.

We are so proud that they chose the team from GPS Homes to build their first home.
