On Friday, our team headed to the Royal Botanic Gardens for a self-guided tour. It was a great opportunity to familiarise ourselves with many of the plants and trees we work with every day, especially seeing some of the trees we plant in their mature form. Exploring the gardens and taking in the surrounding landscape was both inspiring and educational for the whole team.

One of the photos was taken in front of the largest and tallest tree in the Botanic Gardens a fitting backdrop for our crew. Just like this incredible tree, our team stands tall, strong, and proud. No matter the challenge, we tackle it together with confidence, determination, and pride in the work we do every day.

After a lovely lunch, it was straight to the go-kart track for a completely different kind of challenge this time competing amongst ourselves! Plenty of laughs, friendly rivalry, and great memories made to finish off an awesome day together as a team.

Mowing & Garden Maintenance Positions Available

If mowing grass is something you love and can’t get enough of, we want to hear from you!

We currently have:
• a mowing-only position, and
• a combined mowing & horticulture / garden maintenance position available.

We operate under a long-term council contract, offering excellent job stability.

What We Offer
• Above Award pay, with the right rate paid to experienced applicants
• 4-day working week – Monday to Thursday
• 38 hours over 4 days
• 3-day weekend every week, all year round
• Fridays off (overtime may be offered occasionally)
• Casual start, with full-time opportunities available

Work Location
• Our depot is located in Laverton North, and all works operate from this depot daily

What We’re Looking For
• Reliable and punctual
• Happy to work with others / part of a team
• Experience is not necessary, but a willingness to learn is required
• Enjoys fast-paced outdoor work

Our fast-paced mow crew is ready to take you on and cut all this grass that continues to keep growing!

Big things happening at Crocodile Park, Point Cook! 🐊

We’ve just kicked off a massive decking refurbishment project, over 8,000 lineal meters of old hardwood are coming up to make way for beautiful new composite decking.

A huge shoutout to Jordan and the crew from J.Hirst Constructions for teaming up with us on this one. It’s going to be an incredible transformation, and we can’t wait to see the finished result!
