Fencing Built for Strong Winds

When the wind gets serious, your fence needs to be built to handle it.

We construct heavy-duty cyclone-rated fencing using quality steel components designed for strength and durability:

* 75 x 75mm posts – 3mm wall thickness
* 50 x 50mm rails – 2.5mm wall thickness
* Posts and rails fully welded together for a rigid, solid frame
* Hardiplank installed along the bottom to keep the sheeting away from the dirt, helping prevent rust and premature deterioration
* Finished in Surfmist Colourbond for a clean, modern look
* Built with high-wind conditions in mind

We’ve just wrapped up this beautiful timber gable patio, measuring a whopping 15m x 6.5m! 😍

Well, that’s one way to make a statement!

When other tradies put a job in the “too big and too hard” basket, it makes us want to build it even more. 💪

We take a huge amount of pride in going that extra mile for our clients. Sometimes that means fixing a few little non-related issues along the way — simply because we’re already there, have the tools ready and can help get the job sorted.

And this client… what can I say? We couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.

With projects of this size, there’s a lot of trust involved. Plans can evolve, ideas change and improvements come together throughout the build. Having a client who trusts the process and works with us makes all the difference.

This one was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.

Small Colourbond fence installation completed using heavy-duty 75x75 steel posts for added strength and durability.

To maximise the lifespan of the fence, we also installed James Hardie plank between the garden bed and the Colourbond sheets. This creates a barrier that helps minimise constant moisture contact against the steel, reducing the risk of premature corrosion and ensuring a longer-lasting finish.

Today we finished off the timber construction of a 15 metre by 6.5 metre gable timber patio. As we celebrate Broad Solutions Carpentry & Maintenance’s 2-year anniversary, it’s important to reflect on what truly matters—not just the work we do, but the people we help along the way.

One of the most rewarding parts of this trade is having the opportunity to pass on knowledge to the next generation of carpenters.

That’s why we’re proud to welcome Kingo Jennings to the Broad Solutions team as our apprentice carpenter. We’re excited to give him the opportunity to begin his career, develop his skills, and learn the best trade there is .

Carpentry has been one of the most rewarding careers I could have asked for, and I’m looking forward to sharing that experience with someone who’s eager to learn.

Today marks 2 years since Broad Solutions Carpentry & Maintenance began servicing the Geraldton community.

What started as a simple goal—to provide honest, reliable, and quality workmanship—has grown thanks to the support of our clients, local businesses, friends, and family. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted us with their homes, renovations, repairs, and maintenance projects over the past two years.

We believe that every job, big or small, deserves the same attention to detail, clear communication, and pride in workmanship. Building lasting relationships with our clients has always been just as important as building quality work.
