Synergy
Good afternoon,
To better support you and your customers, we wanted to let you know that Synergy have been advised by Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) of two possible emergency solar management (ESM) low load event days. Currently, these are forecasted to be called on Sunday the 24th of September and Monday 25th of September.
This could mean that you receive customer calls and enquiries, where a customer has noticed that their rooftop solar system is online, but not generating power.
To support these customers over the coming days, you can:
Ensure they remain connected to their WiFi, to ensure that we can smoothly reconnect their rooftop solar systems and that they continue to meet their Distributed Energy Buyback Scheme (DEBS) obligations.
Reassure them that their rooftop solar systems should be reconnected within 24hours.
Thank them for their important role in helping maintain the reliability of power supply for all Western Australians.
Encourage those who would like to learn more about ESM to visit our customer information and FAQs page.
To know when future ESM low load event days have occurred, you can visit the ESM customer information page where a notice will be published soon after an event has concluded.
For ESM troubleshooting guides and technical support, visit the ESM industry information page.
Kind Regards,
Synergy
