Our origins lie in Anglesea, where we began rebuilding homes after the 1983 Ash Wednesday bushfires. The time was right for a new approach in residential development, and we excelled in offering purposeful homes with architectural flair. Today, we are Geelong’s largest locally owned and operated builder, employing more than 50 permanent staff as well as subcontractors. Well known for our functional, beautifully finished homes, we create a range of homes across the region from breathtaking cliff-top houses and inner city living through to acreage homes and custom builds.

It looks like something from the future, but it's happening right here.

Our Project Manager, Behrad, is onsite at this project we're building for Homes Victoria, where homes are being constructed using 3D concrete printing technology.

The printer constructs the internal and external walls on site faster, with less waste, and designed to an 8.5-star energy rating for lasting efficiency and durability.

We're excited to be part of this pilot project, exploring how emerging construction methods can help deliver better housing outcomes.

This little cottage has sat on its Skenes Creek hillside for a long time, and it's easy to see why. The Great Ocean Road is on the doorstep, the hills are behind it and Apollo Bay is only a short drive away.

The location was never the problem. The house just wasn't making the most of it.

So it's being rebuilt as a custom home designed for this block. Dark vertical cladding, a timber-lined balcony to sit up on and take it all in, and two levels to make the most of the view. It was designed to suit the slope, the area and the way the owners want to live.

That's the best part of a custom knockdown rebuild when you already love where you are. You keep the address, you keep the neighbours, and you get a home shaped around your life instead of one that was built for someone else decades ago.

Matt and Laura’s relationship with Hamlan goes back almost eight years, when they built their first home with us using one of our standard floorplans. Now they’re back, this time building their forever home on three and a half acres in the heart of Torquay.

Not every client wants a predesigned floorplan. Some clients have such a genuine desire to build something that doesn't exist anywhere else.

This custom home in Aireys Inlet is an example of what we can build for our custom clients. With features including the Shou Sugi Ban charred cladding that blends into the landscape, the bluestone flooring and feature brick wall were brought in to add texture and warmth throughout, and every colour choice, from the earthy greens to the warm tones, was made to suit this home and these clients.

That's what a custom build gives you, a home shaped around exactly how you want to live, right down to the way the rooms open onto the garden and the light moves through the entry.
