Comments like these make me genuinely grateful for what I get to do every day. 🙏
A simple reminder:

How you treat people matters.

Be kind.
Be helpful.
Add value.
Do the right thing — even when there’s nothing in it for you. 🤝

Because what you put into the world has a funny way of finding its way back to you. ♾️

Kindness isn’t weakness. It’s character.

Buckle up! 🍿

So the ATO is stopping businesses from paying their tax and BAS liabilities by credit card from 30 November, because it doesn’t want to absorb the cost of credit-card processing.

Yet from 1 October, small businesses are also being prevented from passing credit-card processing costs on to their customers. It’s hard not to see the imbalance: the ATO says it shouldn’t have to wear card fees, while small businesses are being told they have to wear them.

Small businesses already deal with tight cash flow. For many, using a credit card to manage the timing of tax and BAS payments was a useful cash-flow tool.

Now that option is being taken away at the same time as businesses are being required to absorb card costs themselves

Make it make sense! 🫠

Cockies have destroyed this home 🏚️
We’re replacing every window and door on this property with double glazed Stegbar windows 🙌

Cockatoos are a protected species under the Australian Commonwealth Law but still very much a nuisance 😂

Hopefully these aluminium frames will slow them down!
