A major freshen up on the outdated and leaky cladding system for our Ocean Grove project.

After our first visit to build the 1st story deck and stairs we was back to freshen up the rest of the house

The odd style and shape of this house has made for an interesting build and we are super happy with the outcome. 🔥👌

This isn't everyone's cup of tea but our client is over the moon!

We removed the old leaky cladding
Re framed all the walls for new windows and doors and repaired the damage
Insulated and wrapped
Built an eave to help with protection from the weather and for added asthetics
Installed Stria cladding with vertical battens to create something a little different
Installed new aluminium windows and french doors
Flashings and roofing installed

Now onto the inside....

Lock up stage complete at our Geelong west project ✅

The shou sugi ban cladding ( burnt cedar timber ) looking absolutely epic next to the white Spanish brick, the large sliding doors and full height windows 🔥😍😍 wowie

The curved hallway wall that leads to the open kitchen and living area with a slimline triangle shaped window above was a challenge to match in with the exiting house but we got there and it's looking amazing 🔥

Onto the next stages of getting the inside wrapped up, bathrooms, kitchen and all the rest to follow!

Frame stage complete on this extension in Geelong west ✅ here's a few slides of what we started with and where it's at now

This one was a head scratcher at times, definitely an interesting concept to build but we are super happy with the result. Looking forward to seeing the big sliding doors go in and the charred cladding on 🔥

Same same but different. We installed new shadowclad rough sawn sheets, flashings, new house wrap and done some repairs to this building after years of weather and the lack of flashings caused water to creep in and damage the cladding.

A final coat of paint and it's good as new ✅

Another one complete, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Stunning transformation of this old and outdated separate bathroom and shower room turned into a family bathroom 😍 plus the external storage area we created in the hall ✅

We maximized the space here with a walk in shower base, inset shower niche, slimline vanity unit and the stunning deep bath tucked in the corner 😍 not to mention the bonus natural light from a new larger window
