Well what a year! We've finished it off with a nice Kakadu mesh cladded water feature with Otway capping, and a massive amount of Dromana grey toppings down in Curlewis, unfortunately it was too windy today to run the water fountain but none the less doesn't it look awesome!
I'm sure for many of us this discombobulated year called 2020 has felt like we were driving the Oodnadatta track in chitty chitty bang bang, but one things for sure as long as you keep on keeping on you'll always make it through.
We'd like thank all the clients we've had throughout the year that haven't let a cheeky pandemic get in the way of their landscape goals, without you guys keeping my boys employed would have become a whole lot harder! Have a merry Christmas and a safe new year and we will be refreshed and ready to rock n roll in 2021!

This might just look like a lot of exposed agg, and well, that's because it was. 870m2 if I can count. I did run out of fingers so the 70odd is questionable 🤔. Big thanks to and as we couldn't have done it without their talented souls on board.
We've also knocked up a polished black granite outdoor pizza area amoungst irrigating the whole property (hard to photo that one) The oven install by - clients to decide on a finishing cladding shortly!

A little unorthodox to what we'd normally do, but on this occasion in Wallington we filled a pool in!
The clients swimming days were past them so we've given the space a new lease on life as an entertainment area.

We redid a retaining wall with updated / widened steps in Grovedale, excavating the backyard down to a more suitable level so the kids can appreciate some (future) flat grassed areas! The before photos don't really do the slope justice, but we removed approx 100m3!

It's been a moon or two since I jumped on the instaweb so I thought I'd better let everyone know we're still ticking along. This one's our Lara spa surround completed. I know a landscapers job is to transform a space into a tailor made fit for the clients, but it still blows me away sometimes when you compare before and afters - with just what potential is hiding away under weeds and a strange halfway fence. This one's sure to get a fair workout!
(Some photos a touch blurry, sorry!)

All of the Jesus's were on our side the last 2 days letting us complete the second pour without any bad weather, not bad considering there's a fair bit of organising that goes into booking a pour date 2 weeks in advance for 270m2 exposed agg. That brings us to around 470 poured and approx 300something to go!
Big thanks once again to and Brad and his men for the extra hands on deck.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - surround yourself with good people and good things happen!

200 squares down, about 600 to go!

This Lara project involves a charcoal 70blue/30white exposed agg driveway, irrigation throughout, and a front feature fence (still fine tuning)

When turning a 'rural' gravel driveway into a hardened surface like concrete, it's crucial to think about - and potentially upgrade the drainage, as what was once a permeable surface is now a funnel!

We've teamed up with Brad and his boys to tackle this driveway come pour days, and with the extra hands on deck the only thing we need to stress about is what's for lunch.

Acid wash and sealing to come!

Honed bluestone crazy paving for this spa surround in Lara underway, the boys have done a great job keeping the randomness consistent! We are turning a once neglected and somewhat awkward corner into the new social hub of this backyard. So far so good!

90m2 Black granite porcelain ashlar that wraps around this new build in Ocean Grove we laid back in November (slightly delayed post). It keeps going beyond the pics I have posted during construction but you get the idea, I also forgot to get pics of it looking flash with the Christmas rush, but short of a final sponge down it still looks awesome!

Installed some tree lights at home, I would argue that of all the elements involved with landscaping, garden lighting's reward for effort is undisputed. How good is a night tree!
