Construction has commenced on Taylor Town Centre and Marigold Apartments. A mixed-use development that marks a turning point for Taylor, one of Canberra's fastest-growing northern suburbs.

At ground level, a major supermarket and nine specialty shops will form the suburb's first proper retail precinct, giving residents everyday conveniences close to home. Above, 38 two- and three-bedroom apartments will enjoy 6–8 star energy efficiency ratings, and walking distance to Taylor's parks, green spaces, and nature reserves.

Monarch has been awarded the demolition and construction contract for a new 30-dwelling public housing development in Yarralumla on behalf of Housing ACT.

The project will transform the public housing complex, originally built in the 1950s, into a modern, energy-efficient residential development that will provide much-needed homes for Canberrans who need them most.

The project forms part of the ACT Government's commitment to deliver 5,000 additional public, community and affordable rental dwellings in Canberra by 2030, supported by Housing Australia's Future Fund Facility Round 2.

We look forward to working alongside our Government partners and all project stakeholders to deliver a development the community can be proud of.

Site Progress Update | Watson Health Hub & Winnunga RRF

From above, you can really see these projects coming to life.

At the Watson Health Hub, three of the four buildings are now fully enclosed and scaffold-free, with the final building close behind. Inside, fit off and internal finishes are well underway. Outside, the streetscape is taking shape with road prep complete, kerbs are in, and landscaping retaining walls and paving are now commencing.

Over at Winnunga RRF, the finish line is in sight. Internal fit off is in its final phase, concrete pavements are going down, and the detailed landscape package is starting to come together beautifully.

Keyton Retirement Living together with Monarch has built Australia’s first certified Passive House within a retirement village, delivered as part of The Grove’s extension in Ngunnawal, ACT.

What distinguishes this innovative villa is its high-performance building envelope: enhanced insulation, airtight construction, triple-glazed windows and doors, and a mechanical ventilation system with energy recovery that continuously supplies filtered fresh air while maintaining internal temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees celsius, delivering comfort and wellbeing year-round.

For Keyton, this villa is a working prototype, providing future learning. By monitoring how the home performs in partnership with its residents, the insights gained can help shape future retirement developments.
