Demolition is complete at our Yarralumla Public Housing site. The team is now moving onto bulk and detailed excavation, ahead of construction of 30 new homes for our ACT Government partners.

This development will deliver a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes across three buildings, forming part of the ACT Government’s commitment to 5,000 additional public, community and affordable homes by 2030.

The project is supported by funding from Housing Australia under the Housing Australia Future Fund.

Congratulations to our South Coast team who were recognised with two awards at the Master Builders Association of NSW - Southern Regions 2026 Excellence in Building Awards!
Both projects were delivered for the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn as part of the college's ongoing campus expansion:

🏆 St Peter's Sports Recreation Centre: Public Building under $15m
A fully enclosed double-court sports facility with change rooms, amenities, and four extra classrooms for staff.

🏆 St Peter's HSIE and Performing Arts Centre: Extensions, Renovations and Refurbishments
Delivering new HSIE classrooms alongside expanded music and performing arts facilities, including a new practice building with acoustically controlled rooms and provision for a future recording studio.

Monarch has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the redevelopment of the Queanbeyan Leagues Club.

The project will deliver a modernised and expanded facility through demolition of several existing structures, construction of a new club extension, full internal refurbishment, streetscape upgrades to the Monaro Street frontage, and a significant increase in car parking including accessible bays.

The club will remain open and operational throughout, with works carefully staged to minimise disruption to members. We're looking forward to getting started!

Two Monarch projects are on the home stretch.

At Watson Health Hub, all four buildings are now progressing through internal fit-off and finishes, with landscaping nearing completion across the site.

At Winnunga RRF, landscaping is complete and the team is now focused on the finishing touches that bring the project over the line.

Two very different builds, both edging closer to completion. We'll be sharing the finished projects soon!
