A lot of body corporates are installing CCTV into garbage areas to prevent the unauthorised dumping of rubbish. When left unchecked the costs incurred by the body corporate in disposal fees can build up as mattresses, old furniture etc aren't cheap to remove and dump.

Smaller CCTV systems can be a cost effective solution to prevent unwanted rubbish dumping. Secure cages are used to protect the recorder and screen so that the system can't be accessed.
