The best sites are rarely the easiest to build on.

Every steel beam, glass panel and canvas wall of Swell Lodge - Christmas Island two Eco Tents was carried piece by piece through rainforest and assembled by hand inside Christmas Island National Park.

For developers looking at remote or environmentally sensitive sites, this is what a build system designed around the landscape can make possible.

8 years on and looking as good as day one!

Tucked across 130 acres of bushland, Two Blind Cows Glamping four boutique tents have hosted hundreds of guests and taken everything the Aussie weather could throw at them… Proving a low-impact build can look incredible on day one and keep performing years down the track!

A beautiful way to stay on Kangaroo Island - and a fundamentally different way to build on it.

At Seafront Holiday Park Kangaroo Island, our Eco Tents deliver the comfort of a luxury suite, tucked into the coastal gums of Penneshaw, minutes from the beach and ferry terminal.

Much of the difference is in what you don’t see:

🌿 No concrete foundations, allowing natural drainage to remain largely undisturbed
🌿 Minimal ground impact during and after installation
🌿 Precision-engineered components made offsite, reducing waste and construction activity on site

Light on the landscape. Uncompromising on guest comfort.

El Salvador is home to our latest project, and we couldn’t be more excited !

Set within the regenerative community of ITzel, overlooking the breathtaking shores of Lake Ilopango, The Talamir Tent will become the heart of ! A space designed to bring people together through nature, design and community.

Inspired by the Mayan meaning “Heart of the Community,” the 5,000 sq ft tent is the first major structure within the ITzel masterplan.

Featuring communal gathering spaces, a resident chef, guest suites, wellness experiences and an interior design studio, it offers a first glimpse into Lori Morison’s vision for regenerative living in El Salvador.

We’re proud to be working alongside Lori and the team to bring this incredible project to life !

Working farms are becoming some of the most compelling tourism destinations!

Perched high above Golden Bay, Drift Off Grid Glamping sits on a working sheep and beef property where two Eco Tents have been carefully positioned across the hillside to maximise privacy, capture the views and minimise disturbance to the land.

Solar power, rainwater collection and electric buggies keep the infrastructure light, while floor-to-ceiling mesh openings make the Tasman Sea breeze part of the guest experience.

✨ Planning a trip to New Zealand? The team at Drift Off Grid Glamping have generously offered the Eco Structures community 20% off their stay. ✨

If New Zealand has been on your list, mention Eco Structures when booking directly with the Drift Off Grid team to redeem the offer.

This might be the most Australian check-in imaginable!

Tucked beneath towering eucalypts on a 72,000-acre working cattle station, Wallaroo Outback Retreat sits among the sandstone cliffs of Queensland’s Carnarvon Ranges… Here some of our Eco Tents have found a very fitting home!

The central lodge was built using timber milled on the property. Add camp ovens, cattle-country views, evenings around the fire and Carnarvon Gorge just an hour up the road, and it’s hard to imagine a stay that feels more unmistakably Australian.

A brilliant example of what our clients create once the structures leave our hands: full of character and well worth travelling well beyond the bitumen for.

Nearly a decade on, Vinetree Honghegu Resort is still one of our favourite examples of building lightly in a difficult place.

Set within Yunnan’s UNESCO-listed Honghe Hani Rice Terraces, the resort sits in a landscape shaped by generations of farming.

We supplied elevated Eco Tents with Eco Anchors and lift kits, reducing excavation and allowing the structures to follow the terrain rather than flatten it.

Inside, Hani-inspired textiles, timber detailing and expansive roll-down windows bring the character of the region into the guest experience.

Beautiful in 2017. Still proving itself today.
