Retaining Wall Builder

About the Company:
A leading commercial construction company, with an impeccable reputation in all Types of retaining wall construction.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and highly motivated retaining wall builder to join our construction team, to build sleeper retaining walls in the Geelong region.

Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Retaining Wall Builder role based in Geelong, VIC. The Retaining Wall Builder will construct a variety of retaining wall systems, including excavation, footing preparation, installation of structural elements, and backfilling. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting out sites, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring work is completed safely and to specification. The role involves working closely with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to maintain quality, meet project timelines, and follow company safety procedures. The Retaining Wall Builder will also assist with site clean-up, material handling, and may support basic project documentation as required.

Skill and Experience:
- Experience building retaining walls from set out to completion
- Ability to read plans and understanding of levels
- LE (Excavator) ticket with experience operating
- Construction Induction Card/ Red card
- Drivers licence and reliable transport
- Smartphone including email
- Good communication skills
- Time management skills
