- Walkerston Quarry
- Jimbaroo Downs Quarry (Bowen Basin)

MACHINERY/EQUIPMENT HIRE
Vella’s Civil also provide a vast range of plant machinery, support vehicles, equipment and tools that enable them to complete small or large scale projects. Vella’s provide short or long term hire options either wet or dry at competitive rates. All fleet can be easily relocated to our customers site with the use of Vella’s float and escort, if required. All machinery is regularly serviced and maintained by our full time qualified service mechanic team. Vella’s Civil provide operators that are workplace, health and safety certified, have the experience and the necessary qualifications to operate all our plant and equipment. CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

Vella's Civil are looking for Float Driver and Truck & Dog Driver.

RESUME MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION

FLOAT DRIVER
You will be experienced in Float transport of loads up to 50 Tonne, show a high amount of respect to the equipment you will be operating and will abide by all site-specific safety rules and regulations on our clients sites. You maybe required to travel within the Mackay / Bowen Basin and Whitsundays region and interstate.
The successful candidate will require:
Demonstrated minimum 2 years prior experience
Clean MC Licence
Construction White Card
Also willing and able to do overnight stays out of town when required.

TRUCK & DOG
Experienced Truck and Dog Driver for an immediate start.
You will be experienced in driving truck and dog Trucks, show a high amount of respect to the equipment you will be operating and will abide by all site-specific safety rules and regulations on our clients sites. You maybe required to travel within the Mackay / Bowen Basin region.
The successful candidates will require:
Demonstrated minimum 2 years prior experience (preferential to previously delivering quarry products and working on construction sites)
Clean HC Licence
Construction White Card

Show a high amount of respect to the equipment you will be operating and will abide by all site-specific safety rules and regulations on our client’s sites.

To be considered you MUST HAVE the following:
* Quarry Experience
*Construction Induction (White Card)
*Appropriate machinery licences / tickets (OH&S or RII) for Loader, Excavator, Moxy.
* Clean MC Licence for Truck & Dog operation.
