When I was in high school my friends Ana and taught me how to crochet so I started making bags during class and selling them to my classmates. Now after 20+ years I crochet again but now out of filaments made from plastic bags, inspired by my mentor and super talented artist Angela Nashaat!

If you want to get into upcycling plastic bags this is by far the easiest way to turn plastic trash into functional products. Get involved 🧶
