Sometimes you don’t need a full renovation — a new floor can change the whole house! 😆

New flooring throughout the kitchen and living area, giving the space a much brighter, cleaner and more modern look.

The funny part? We didn’t change the kitchen, but somehow even the kitchen looks newer 😂

Officially part of the BNI Bizmasters family! 🎉
Thank you BNI Bizmasters for the warm welcome!
We’re excited to be part of such a supportive business community, meeting new people, building connections and supporting other local businesses along the way.
Looking forward to growing together, sharing opportunities and of course, helping more people get those handyman jobs ticked off their to-do lists! 🔨

Welcome to our newest member!

Last Wednesday we inducted Yanie Lee of Hire-A-Hubby Ermington into the Handyman seat in our chapter.

Yanie and her husband Jason head up a team of 5 doing all kinds of minor renovations and handyman work, including:

• Updating kitchens
• Installing handrails
• Window repairs
• Fixing locks on screen doors
• Replacing shelving
• Balancing washing machines
• Replacing mirrors and vanity units
• Furniture assembly
• Fence repairs

They have 5-star reviews for all these household jobs and more.

Fantastic to have such a great team to refer to. If you’ve got work you need done around the house, or know someone who does, talk to Yanie!

🏡 Even if you're not selling this spring, visitors notice the little things, and a small defect can make them wonder what else has been let go.

✅ Loose cabinet doors and wobbly towel rails
✅ Holes, dents and scuffs in the walls
✅ Sticking doors and loose handles
✅ Torn fly screens and broken fence palings
All work subject to licensing.

A few quick fixes can make a big difference to how buyers & visitors see your property.

🔅 Longer days, more sunshine, windows open... spring is the perfect time for a home safety check. 🌞

✅ Are your smoke alarms working? (May require an electrician)
✅ Are the handrails solid?
✅ Do your doors and windows open and lock properly?
✅ Are there any lifted pavers or loose steps waiting to trip someone up?

If anything's been sitting on the "I'll get to it" list, we'll get to it for you.

The flatpack marathon continues. 😂

Drawers, cabinets, shelving — another batch of Artiss furniture assembled and ready to use.

Amazing how a few boxes can turn into half a room of furniture. 🤣
You buy it, I build it. 🔨

🦟 Spring's here — and so are the flies, mozzies and sun. Now's the time to get your home sorted before summer hits full swing.

✅ Fly screens — keep pests out, keep your windows open for that spring breeze
✅ Privacy screens — enjoy your outdoor spaces without the neighbours watching
✅ Window awnings — cut the heat and glare before the real summer sun arrives

Book now and you'll be sorted well before the flies (and the heat) properly move in. Leave it too late and you're stuck fighting both all summer long.

Broken glass doesn’t always mean a whole new door 😆

Old broken glass out, new glass in, existing frame stays.

Why replace the whole thing when we can fix what’s actually broken? ✨
