Rig 39 on the move. 🚢

Fresh off an engine replacement, our custom LF170 headed out this afternoon for mobilisation to a project with a new client.

Great effort from everyone involved in turning this rig around and getting it ready for the next job.

Another successful week of work experience completed at Deepcore Drilling 👏

This week, we welcomed a student into our Bendigo workshop to gain hands-on experience in diesel mechanics and workshop operations.

Throughout the week they developed practical skills in:
🔧 Welding
🔧 Fitting and turning
🔧 General diesel mechanical tasks

This marks our 4th work experience placement for 2026 so far, with more already booked in for the year ahead.

A big thank you to our workshop team for mentoring and supporting the next generation entering our industry.

What an end to the week!
Two rigs out the gate and on site today, no small feat. Getting both rigs up and running isn’t just about logistics; it’s about the teamwork, coordination, and effort across multiple crews and facilities.
A huge shoutout to our maintenance team who have gone above and beyond to make this happen. Their hard work behind the scenes keeps everything running safely and reliably.
With both rigs now on site, we’re looking forward to the next phase of the project and building on this strong start. Exciting times ahead.

Today we had the privilege of visiting the Harcourt BlazeAid team at their regional camp in Maldon, Victoria.

BlazeAid is a volunteer-based organisation that supports families and individuals in rural Australia following natural disasters such as fires, cyclones, droughts and floods. Their work on the ground is practical, hands-on and deeply impactful — helping communities rebuild not just fences and infrastructure, but confidence and connection.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet the dedicated local volunteers who generously give their time to support others. We spent time getting to know the team, hearing firsthand about the impact of the recent bushfires on the Harcourt community, and visiting a property that had been directly impacted, where we saw the volunteers hard at work supporting recovery efforts.

We are incredibly proud to have donated $10,000 on behalf of the Mitchell Services Foundation — a foundation committed to supporting meaningful causes and charities each year.

A sincere thank you to the amazing volunteers who work tirelessly to support our regional communities. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

What a great day at the Victorian Mine Rescue Competition at La Trobe University, hosted by the Minerals Council of Australia.

We were proud to be one of this year’s sponsors, running a hydration station with drinks and sweet treats for the very deserving teams.
