Come behind the scenes of one of our biggest projects yet. 👀

We’re currently transforming this Mosman home from top to bottom — kitchen, four bathrooms and a full renovation throughout.

Here’s a walkthrough of where the project is at, what we’re working on and where it’s all heading.

A big one for the Metod team. Can’t wait to show you the finished result.

Her design. Our job to bring it to life. 🤎

Our Rosehill client came to us with a clear vision for her new kitchen — combining IKEA cabinetry with custom REN Studio fronts to create something completely her own.

A two-tone mix of timber veneer and slim shaker doors, integrated appliances, marble-look stone and natural checkerboard tiles give the kitchen a warm but beautifully streamlined feel.

Beyond the kitchen installation, we coordinated the entire renovation — demolition, electrical, plumbing, rendering, tiling and stone — giving the client one team to take the project from concept through to completion.

More storage, integrated appliances and a new seating area completely changed the functionality, without needing to completely reinvent the original layout.

IKEA underneath. Custom where it counts.

Heritage character, with a modern twist. 🖤

For this Randwick renovation, we were brought in early to help the client with the kitchen design, layout, colours and finishes — creating something that felt modern while still belonging in this beautiful heritage home.

We kept the original black and white floor tiles, pairing them with an IKEA kitchen, black fluted-glass doors and a separate coffee nook for a modern take on the Hamptons look.

What was once a small kitchen is now a large, functional entertainer’s space, finished with Miele and Bosch appliances and designed around how the clients actually use their home.

More storage. More character. A completely different kitchen. 🌿

This Woy Woy kitchen was transformed to give a young family the storage and functionality they were missing.

Warm oak IKEA fronts are paired with a custom green VJ-look island and matching peninsula, custom doors and drawer fronts, and timber floating shelves to bring warmth and personality into the space.

A bigger kitchen, loads more storage and a much better space for the whole family to gather. 🤎

Sometimes the best kitchen renovation starts by putting the kitchen somewhere completely different. 🌿

For this St Ives home, we relocated the kitchen to completely change the flow of the house — connecting it with the indoor/outdoor living area and creating space for a large family island.

Warm oak-look IKEA cabinetry, crisp white uppers and a beautifully veined stone splashback work perfectly with the natural light and leafy surrounds.

A warm, natural IKEA kitchen designed around the home and the way this family lives. 🤎

You’d never guess this started with an IKEA kitchen. 👀🤎

This Woolloomooloo studio started as a completely blank canvas and was transformed into a cleverly designed one-bedroom apartment with some serious New York / SoHo vibes.

At the heart of it is an IKEA kitchen — but definitely not as you know it.

Custom farmhouse-style fronts, integrated timber handles, an ultra-thin stainless steel benchtop, floating stainless shelf and custom fridge cabinetry all came together to give the kitchen a completely bespoke feel.

We also worked plenty of clever IKEA hacks into the apartment, including built-in bench seating made from IKEA cabinetry to make the most of every centimetre of this inner-city Sydney space.

This was one of those projects where the details really mattered. A fantastic client with a great eye for design, combined with some seriously detailed work from our tradesmen, turned standard IKEA cabinetry into something pretty special.

Proof that with clever design, a few IKEA hacks and the right installation, an IKEA kitchen can be anything but standard. 🤎
