When you are looking at having your roof on your home restored Please don’t just look for the cheapest price.
This roof supposedly had its valley replaced after Cyclone Marcia by an out of town roofer.
As you can see they just slapped a bit of tape over the rust.
They’re cheap for a reason.
Please only use Local trades not the traveling gypsies

When engaging the services of a unlicensed contractor
✅they can’t get Qbcc home owners insurance. So you can’t claim through the Qbcc when the job fails. You have to pay to have it redone.
✅they can’t get public liability insurance. So if they damage your property Who pays.
✅There is No product warranty.
✅No contract no comeback when the product they use fails

Make sure you do your checks on the trades people before engaging them to work on your home.
