To our wonderful customers, suppliers and friends,
I wanted to let you know that Joderay Electrical Solutions will be closing its doors this week. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but one I’ve made with everyone’s best interests at heart.
The good news is we’ve sold the business to Cadlec, who’ll be taking over our premises and welcoming our amazing team — so you’ll still see the same friendly faces and get the same great service you’re used to, just under a new name.

I can’t thank you enough for all your support and loyalty over the years — especially these past 18 months since John’s passing. It’s meant the world to me and the team. 💛

After much thought and with a heavy heart, I am announcing the closure of Joderay Electrical Solutions under it’s current ownership, after 18 years of service in the electrical contracting industry.

As many of you know, my husband John passed away suddenly 18 months ago. Since then, we have worked hard to continue John’s legacy, and I am truly grateful for the incredible support myself and the team have received during this time.

While I hoped to merge with another business to carry on the work we’ve done, the timing just isn’t right for me.

So, after much reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from the business that has been such an important part of our lives, to prioritise my personal well-being and focus on my future and next chapter.

I am incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved over the years and so thankful l for the trust, support, and friendships that have been built along the way.

Although things are changing for now, Joderay will continue to provide excellent service through to 30 June 2025 and potentially beyond, should the right opportunity to transition the business arise. If you’re interested in purchasing or transitioning the business, feel free to reach out to me directly.

Thank you for your continued support. It’s been wonderful to be part of this community, and I will always cherish the memories and connections that have come from this journey.

As promised

The time is finally here.

The merge is official on Monday 24th February. However, it will take some time yet to fully integrate and you will still be seeing some paperwork come in from each company name until we finalise everything (and I eventually catch up!)

We want to thank everyone that has been involved in Joderay Electrical Solutions over the last, almost, 18 years. John started this business in April 2007 and built it to be a well respected name and local business in the community over that time. We think now is the time to make changes that supports the principles and goals that John had.

As a family, we want to say thank you for your love and support of Joderay Electrical Solutions and John. We appreciate the lovely things that have been said and emailed to us over the last year.

We look forward to continuing to work with you and supporting you from the new and improved business

While we love Christmas, this time of year it hits us hard as a team, individually and especially for Kate and Deb. Monday the 2nd of December marks one year since Johns’ passing so please be patient with us.

There appears to be an issue affecting Ergon hot water tariff relays today. We have noticed it mostly affecting properties on the north side so far.

If you notice an issue with your hot water please do not hesitate to reach out.

We are taking a break this Christmas!

Joderay Electrical Solutions will be closed from the 20th of December and re-opening on the 13th of January 2025.

Our team has worked so hard this year and they deserve a holiday. 2024 has been a tough one for us as individuals and together as a team but we look forward to a bigger and better 2025.

We would like to thank you for your ongoing support and will be back in 2025 for all your electrical needs.

If you have sent us emails on Monday 26/8 and Tuesday 27/8 and possibly Friday, Saturday and Sunday too could you please re-send? Crazy Domains migrated our server last Thursday evening about 6pm and we were told there would be no disruption. Not the case. Looks like things may be being resolved now. So sorry for the inconvenience.
